Foundation Dinner
Welcoming Guests on
Opening Day
Traditionally, the Foundation Dinner at the Opening Day gives the Board of the Foundation the opportunity to pay tribute to and honor the eminent engagement of the
participating Nobel Laureates as well as the Meetings’ supporters, who help eminently
as well to make it all happen. Jürgen Kluge welcomes on behalf of the Board and
reports about the steps taken to increase the Foundation’s endowment, a crucial facet
of Lindau's goal to maintain the independence of the Meetings in demanding times
and to ensure the Meetings’ future.
